Still open for March 2027
Seoul National, Yonsei, Korea University and SKKU's first round have closed. But you can still start at a Korean university this March. These are the universities taking, or about to take, international applications, and what you need to be ready.

Which fits your situation?
No Korean yet
Ewha, Chung-Ang and HUFS let you apply without a Korean score, and Ajou runs its own Korean test. Expect a year or so of Korean study before or alongside your major.
You want to study in English
KAIST, SKKU's English track and the English-taught majors at Kyung Hee, HUFS, Ewha and Chung-Ang. Check each one's English score.
Cost matters most
HUFS's new Songdo open major offers 50% tuition plus a living allowance; KAIST's scholarship covers tuition and monthly support; Kyungpook is a national university.
Start these now, whichever you choose
- Apostille or Korean consular certification of your diploma and transcripts
- Notarized translations of anything not in Korean or English
- Passport copies for you and both parents, and proof of your relationship
- A bank statement of KRW 20 million or more for the student visa
- An English or Korean test date, if you still need a score
- A draft personal statement you can adapt for each university
The real deadline is your paperwork
With weeks rather than months left, time is the constraint. A certification that arrives late or a document in the wrong form can end an application regardless of grades, and apostilles can take weeks in some countries.
